PowerVolt/Wabash is a leading U.S. based manufacturer of Class 2, VDE, Audio/Video and power transformers. Our transformers have been ROHS1 (2002/95/EC) compliant since 2005, ROHS2 directive (2011/65/EU) and now ROHS3 (Directive 2015/863).
What is ROHS3 (Directive 2015/863):
RoHS 3, or Directive 2015/863 was published in 2015 by the EU, and adds four additional restricted substances (phthalates) to the orginal list of six, as cited under REACH legislation*. It builds upon the original ROHS and ROHS2 requirements issued in 2005.
